Hey there, I’m Rob, thanks for stopping by.

Since you’re on this page, you’re probably interested to know a little about me.

I live in Brighton on the south coast of the UK with my partner, Maria, the founder of successful family travel blog One Tiny Leap, and our son, Charlie.

After almost ten years working for several leading brands in the educational travel industry, and chalking up an MSc in Ecotourism along the way, I made a leap to become a freelance travel copywriter. Since then I’ve written about everything from ladies’ equestrian fashion to vintage watches, renewable energy to pet insurance, before deciding to stick with what I know best: travel and tourism.

Freelance writing has helped me spend precious time with my family, and see the world. It has also given me the opportunity to work with many fantastic businesses, some of whom have been with me for several years.

Today I work with digital agencies across the UK, and private clients from around the world. I write informative copy that bursts with character to describe destinations, accommodations and experiences. What I love about my job more than anything is the opportunity to research new places and bring them vividly to life. It’s also a way of keeping my personal travel bucket list growing.

Over the last few years I’ve written copy for brands including:

  • TUI Group Plc
  • Google
  • Selective Asia
  • Abercrombie & Kent
  • Voyagin
  • Momondo
  • Tinggly
  • Expedia
  • Intercontinental Hotels Group
  • Dream Lodge Group
  • Simplexity Travel Management
  • Ski Safari
  • WOW 247

…and many smaller, independent clients.

I am available for short and long term contract work, for any brands within the travel and hospitality industry.
